Effective 2026-10-29

Lirami uses as few cookies as possible. We don't use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies — which is why you don't see a cookie banner. This page lists what we do store on your device and why.

1. Cookies we set

  • Sign-in cookies (names beginning "sb-"). Set by our authentication provider, Supabase, when you sign in, so you stay signed in as you move between pages. They are strictly necessary, last until you sign out or the session expires, and are only ever sent to lirami.app.

If you never sign in, we set no cookies at all.

2. Local storage on your device

Lirami is local-first, so most of your learning data lives in your browser's IndexedDB and local storage rather than in cookies. This includes your vocabulary, reading history, progress, settings such as theme and languages, any AI keys you add, and a small queue of changes waiting to sync. None of it is used for tracking, and it is never readable by other websites. Signing out clears your synced data from the device; you can also remove everything through your browser's "clear site data" option.

3. Analytics

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you across sites or over time. It sees an anonymised view of the page, referrer, country and device type.

4. Third-party pages

When you choose "Sign in with Google" or pay with Stripe, you are taken to Google's or Stripe's own pages, which set their own cookies (for example for security and fraud prevention) under their own policies. They are not set on lirami.app.

5. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block sign-in cookies you can still use Lirami signed out, with your data kept on your device. If we ever add a cookie that isn't strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this page. See our Privacy Policy for more about how we handle your data, or contact us with questions.
