there be 句型（there is / there are）
表示“某处有某物”：there is + 单数或不可数名词，there are + 复数名词。
例句
- There is a cat.有一只猫。
- There are two windows.有两扇窗户。
- Is there milk?有牛奶吗？

中文的“有”有两个意思：“我有一只猫”是拥有，“花园里有一只猫”是存在。英语分得很清楚：拥有用 have，存在用 there be。

复数
There are three books on the table.
桌子上有三本书。
There are two apples in the bag.
袋子里有两个苹果。
is 还是 are，看紧跟在后面的名词，不看 there。
如果后面列举好几样东西，通常跟第一个名词保持一致：
There is a pen and two books on the desk.
桌上有一支笔和两本书。
否定和疑问
把 be 提前
否定句用 isn't / aren't，也可以用 no：
There isn't a key here.
这里没有钥匙。
There are no chairs in the room.
房间里一把椅子也没有。
There are no problems.
没有问题。（There aren't any … 的说法在“可数 / 不可数名词”一课里学。）
一般疑问句把 is / are 提到 there 前面：
Is there a problem?
有什么问题吗？
Are there two bathrooms?
有两个卫生间吗？
简略回答：Yes, there is. ／ No, there aren't.
常见错误
用 have 表示“存在”
In the garden has a cat.There is a cat in the garden.
“某处有某物”是存在，用 there be。
There have three books.There are three books.

后面是复数名词，用 are。
There are waters.There is water.
water 不可数，用 is，也不加 -s。
